Dirk Langer

Dirk Langer was assistant to Professor Gabrielle Kaufmann-Kohler and Professor Bernd Stauder at Geneva University Law School and researcher at the Geneva E-Com / E-Law Project on ODR.

Dirk, who passed his bar exam in Hamburg (Germany) in 1997, has also obtained a postgraduate degree in Swiss law of obligations from the University of Geneva in 2000 (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies (DEA), mention droit des obligation).
In september 2002, he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on the legal framework for Business-to-Consumer Contracts concluded on the Internet. The work, written in German, covers the legal situation in the European Community, Switzerland and Germany.

He left the research team in October 2002.
